The Strategic Ally Myth

The Strategic Ally Myth by Philip Giraldi

"It is difficult to understand why anyone would take Mort Zuckerman seriously. He is a New York based but Canadian born Israel firster who made a fortune in real estate before buying The New York Daily News and the US News and World Report. He now fancies himself as a leading journalist and political commentator. Zuckerman is frequently spotted on the television talking head circuit where he dispenses analysis of international events that could have been crafted in Tel Aviv or Herzliya, where the Israeli intelligence service Mossad has its headquarters."

The article proceeds to destroy some of Zuckerman's propaganda, item by item, with verifiable information, thanks to the Internet.

[this is an aside, but relevant: some people aren't convinced of how useful the Internet can be to study facts. Google "uss liberty" and read about just one of the points made by Giraldi here. Then do the same with others, until you've done your own fact checking. Then ask yourself how was it possible that Zuckerman and others have manipulated our information system to give stories like the Libary the "treatment", while never missing a beat to puff Israel].

I'm sure Philip is aware that Zuckerman isn't the only one manipulating America's information supply. Hopefully he'll write about another, and another.

It would be very helpful if Zuckerman responds to Giraldi's article, and the argument grows, with all kinds of facts exposed into a clear high level picture of what's happened to our information supply by the likes of Zuckerman.

The handling of the Liberty wasn't the result of any one person - that took teamwork, a machine. With this clear example of that teamwork in motion, ask what else has the machine "accomplished"? Did it facilitate the invasion of Iraq (that is, the Middle East)? Is it still calling the shots? The exit strategy from Iraq was debated quite a bit, but it was never established that there was no exit strategy because there was going to be no exit. Yet the "debate" played out prominently for a while, as if something was being exposed and corrected. The whole fuss was much to do about nothing, because in the end there was no exit strategy because there will be no exit.

Today, as we await Obama's heralded exit plan implementation. Have you noticed that all of a sudden violence is on the upswing? Why that might delay the plan!

Consider this reasoning: that the people who didn't create an exit strategy in the first place still have positions of power. Now, do you recall the trumpeted "surge", and how it stopped much of the fighting in Iraq? Are you aware that the reason it "worked" was because they put the Sunni's on a monthly payroll. Does it take a stretch of imagination to see what could be done if those monthly checks were replaced by money for weapons to start fighting again? Ask yourself: what will renewed fighting do to Obama's exit plan? And consider who doesn't want us to leave Iraq (or any occupied territory)?

I say let's collect the facts in some coherent presentation format, under the auspices of this argument between Giraldi and Zuckerman, to expose the propaganda machine for what it is, and at the same time help to usher in the "new breed of editors" we so badly need. This case will prove beyond a doubt - to all but Zuckerman and his cronies - that we know we can no longer trust our information supply in the hands Zuckerman and his friends. We tried it, and look where it got us.

Zuckerman and his gang are extremely aggressive, no holds barred competitors. They believe that might makes right, the ends justify the means, and even God's own commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is irrelevant to the cause. Winning is all that matters. Machiavelli is a hero. Money is King.

We don't want these people running America, vis a vis control of it's information supply - or any other way for the matter.

America's future is at stake, because this gang is leading us to ruin. Their fucking war in the ME isn't getting any better, and will undoubtedly get worse. Think about it: what would "winning" look like, anyway? And who would do the giving up? No, this is a forever war, to seize and maintain control over as much land as possible in the ME. It's also the stupidest thing America has ever done (been duped into).

Take the Deal, Mr. President

Take the Deal, Mr. President by Patrick J. Buchanan

Pat Buchanan hits the nail on the head with his last sentence in this article:

"Maybe that’s the problem. The powers that be don’t really want a deal with Iran. They want Iran smashed."

And we, the Nation of the Duped, are sitting back, watching everything our ancestors and ourselves built be thrown into a fire started by a gang of monstrously arrogant, belligerent and ultimately stupid people.

Perhaps if people understood that there NOTHING they wouldn't do to further their cause (authority in the ME under the guise of protecting our "friend" Israel).

We have no idea what goes on behind the scenes, but events in Korea smack of it being setup to divert attention from the morass the ME crusade has devolved to.

It's only when we come to realize the gang who made that invasion happen and are still in control will NEVER, EVER, EVER end their crusade - will we have a hope of solving the problems they've put on our table. You don't solve problems by treating symptoms, you have to go to the root cause.

The absence of debate over war

The absence of debate over war By Glenn Greenwald

"Very few Republicans are going to speak ill of wars which their party started and continued for years, and very few Democrats are going to malign wars which their President is now prosecuting.

...

the real reason the "debates" have disappeared is because it serves neither party to engage them.

...

From the perspective of the permanent factions that rule Washington -- from Wall Street and AIPAC to the intelligence and military "communities" -- therein lies the beauty of the two-party system: as long as both party establishments support a particular policy, any meaningful debate over it comes to a grinding halt.
"

I'm a big Glenn Greenwald fan. Great mind, great writer.

Neocon wet dream

The Neocon rag, the Drudge Report, has a lead story at the moment entited "READY FOR WAR" that points to this MSNBC article.

Unless you've been under a rock for the last few years, you're well aware of the Neocon plan for establishing military authority in the ME, a plan that was intended to start with Iraq and spread it's way through all the hostile countries in the region, knocking one after the other of these enemy states down until Israel's position as Master of the area is established.

Didn't work out that way, and what we're up to now is after years and years, what can generously be called a stalemate, but much more arguably a losing proposition. The fact is, as some of us knew in the beginning, the crusade never had a chance. It's only been carried on this long because they have so much of our blood and money to throw at it, not to mention undying media allegiance and willingness to spin the story every way but truthfully.

Now, after years and years, they need a new plan. Let's make one thing very clear: they are not going to lose. This is the essential ingredient of the equation that we must come to terms with, if we're going to understand what's going on. They will not withdraw the American military from the ME in such a way as to weaken Israel, which effectively means they will not withdraw at all. To do so would leave Israel surrounded by it's enemies, and Israel would not allow our politicians to do that (to understand who is in charge of American foreign policy, start with Walt & Mersheimer's book).

But Iraq is a way lost cause. You'd have to dig to find it, but look into independent studies performed by the Pew organization, on Iraqi attitude towards America. But you don't really have to spend time studying this when all you have to do is imagine how you'd feel if foreign soldiers were in your streets killing your neighbors.

Afghanistan is another lost cause - at least for anyone who thinks we're there on a mission to change something. What it really is is a country sized parking lot for the troops getting out of Iraq but not leaving the area, while they wait for the next "incident" so they can get back into serious war mode.

Ah, North Korea!

By an amazing coincidence, North Korea just happens to be acting up around now, at a time when our military is all dressed up for a real war - and getting very tired of the fake "insurgency" (people resisting invasion) wars that have gone nowhere after years and years and countless deaths and untold destruction.

Do the Neocons (see their statement of principles) relish this opportunity? Of course! Nothing like a real man's war to get the military whipped up into a frenzy and shake the insurgency blues. Now they get to use their Big Guns, and once the Big Guns are in play, they can turn their attention back to the primary objective, the ME and the Next Big Bad Guy, Iran. This time, with the Big Guns out of the holster, they will get down to real business to finish the job they started.

Massive Race Divide

Massive Race Divide: Blacks Will Never Gain Wealth Equality With Whites Under the Current System By Glen Ford
"The gap between Black and white household [accumulated] wealth quadrupled from 1984 to 2007, totally discrediting the conventional wisdom that the U.S. is slowly and fitfully moving towards racial equality, or some rough economic parity between the races. Like most American myths, it’s the direct opposite of the truth."

This is the most powerful study I've seen on this subject in some time.

Finally, the beginning of the end for the media barons

Please see this article on Google TV

This effort will probably face a rocky start, competition, and perhaps legislative obstacles, but the course is clear: replace the TV with the Internet. Way overdue, in my opinion, but thankfully it's promise is now on the horizon.

The most important aspect of this development is that, for the 1st time ever, we'll be in charge of what we see on that screen, and the lunatics who have gotten away with defining our live's agenda by manipulating that screen's contents will disappear along with the fog they so cleverly wrapped around the real world.

Cheer the day! We are witnessing a milestone in the history of mankind, unfolding before our eyes.

Without the fog of distortions we've been engulfed in at their hand, we'll see the world in a different and much healthier light, and it will also become clear that we were suckered into criminal behavior. We'll finally, after too many years of being suckered and duped, get ourselves off the road to ruin, and onto a road leading to an amazing future.

The trick all along was based on the maxim: "he who runs the information runs the show", which translates into "who runs Hollywood and the 'mainstream media'", when you think about it.

It will take some time before the fog really clears, but at least we're headed in the right direction! Hooray!

In a future post I'll talk about the "new breed of editors" I envision, who will help us sort out a billion channels.

Many Voices Singing One Song

Many Voices Singing One Song by Philip Giraldi

"There is no deviation from hard right Likud positions, never any criticism of Israel, and always complete agreement on the need to confront Iran militarily. One might reasonably ask to what extent it is a coordinated effort to steer Washington in a certain direction, not unlike the neocons in the Pentagon under President George W. Bush."

Look at this chart showing the number of corporations that control the majority of American media, and then correlate what you see with the results of a google search on "zionist media ownership".

I know about the penetration of important institutions such as Congress and Wall Street by the Zionists, but none are as important as our information supply, including Hollywood and the handful of media machines pointed to above. The media shapes the national discourse and gets to pick and choose what is important and what's not, i.e. they control the issues people think and talk about, they decide what's important and what's not.

What happens when a group of people have this kind of power - and just happen to be arrogant and belligerent? Perhaps it follows that being arrogant and belligerent is a massive competitive edge that leads to riches, especially when competing with the likes of gentle people.

Now consider how massively duped Americans have been to support the invasion of the Middle East (to establish indisputable Israeli/American military authority in the region). Consider for a minute just how short-sighted and outright stupid this crusade has been - and continues to be. Anyone who remembers Vietnam sees the same basic game being played out all over again. One would have to be an idiot - or a total zealot - to even think about such a costly replay of a history-repeats-itself exercise.

Prepared with this information, ask yourself where you think America is headed. I hope that you'll conclude, as I have, that we have to do something about this situation. It's not only factual today, but when viewed as a trend the future is so foreboding as to be in the domain of the unthinkable. Nuclear war in the ME is on the very same path we're blithely being pulled by the nose to follow today.

Think about it: we've launched a military invasion for the purpose of seizing authority over an area. Scale it up or down, from a few countries to the entire Middle East, it's an area smack in the middle of the Muslim mindset, specific borders aside, it's their land. Who thinks we have enough boots on the ground to conquer an area as large and densely populated as the Middle East? Granted, most of the people in the world are peace loving, but if just .0001% of the 1.3 BILLION Muslims hate us (and the number going up by the day), and are bent on our destruction, what are the odds they'll eventually succeed?

I don't like those odds, and I despise the game being played in the first place.

We've been suckered and duped, and we have to put an end to it before it puts an end to what's left of our ideals.

Knowledge is power. And it just so happens to be the only real power we have. No doubt this gang is harvesting the Internet today, and awaiting an event that gives them the excuse to seize authority of the net (for our own good, of course).

To increase your knowledge, your power, and indeed our power once we figure out the best way to link people who share the core beliefs of our founders and the Christian faith (no, not the Christian faith as depicted in the massive media onslaught, but ordinary people with a basic sense of what's right and wrong). I will disclose that Thomas Paine convinced me of the problem with organized religion, and I share his view on the nature of God, but as Chris Hedges points out in this Alternet article that
"... the death of religious institutions will only cement into place the new secular religion of the Last Man, the one that worships military power, personal advancement, hedonism and greed, the one that justifies our callousness toward the weak and the poor."

In my research, I've discovered and follow these respectable/independent websites (in no particular order):

Statements of the obvious

These 3 articles share a common thread: they talk about the duping of America.

Hollywood at War by Kelley B. Vlahos talks about the Hollywood propaganda machine's pumping up our wars

And Is the War Coming Home? by Patrick J. Buchanan talks about the propaganda machine's garbage about the reasons for the war and hatred of America.

And The Gray Lady and Officials Anonymous by Jeff Huber talks about the role the NY Times plays for the propaganda machine.
