I'm no Glenn Greenwald, which is precisely why I've chosen to use this space to mention and link to articles written by writers such as he. Very lucky for us that he's not the only one, but he's certainly one of the best.
Of course, as you may expect, his articles wouldn't appear in the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, CNN or any of the other "mainstream" propaganda mouthpieces. Very thankfully we have Salon and some other really good online publishers who will.
In this article, Glenn talks about the role of Thomas Friedman (NY Times) in duping Americans into invading Iraq, and how he and the gang are now proclaiming success, with the same convincing tone, authority and careful choice of words. It is amazing how ANY argument at all can be made so convincing with the right wording and grandstanding.
